The Trojans were in a better position just a few weeks ago, before they saw one of their top recruits, Lauren Rain Williams, defect to Oregon. Regardless, Southern California is still in an enviable position, landing prodigious talents in Twanisha Terry, a sprinter from powerhouse Miami Northwestern High in Florida, and Cheltenham (Pa.) High hurdler Chanel Brissett.
