What was your most memorable meet or race?
I would have to say last year at the state meet when we won the 4x200. When I handed the baton off to our 4th leg I was confident we would win, but when he crossed the finish line and I saw that state record words can not describe the joy that went through my body.

Out of all your high school accomplishments, which stands out the most?
I'd have to say two accomplishments really stand out, the first would be winning state and getting the state record in the 4x200, the other would be leading my cross country team to our first regional title in school history.

If you could do it all over again, is there anything you would change?
The only thing I would change is my work ethic my first two years of high school. I achieved a lot my 8th grade year and it got to my head.

What were the most difficult obstacles you had to overcome?
Freshmen year I had to sit out half the year because I was having problems with my hip flexor and growth plate and this year I had to deal with a strained hamstring at the end of the season, but extremely grateful that they were minor and I worked through them.

What will you miss the most?
The thing I will miss the absolute most is my track family. We had our successes and we had our failures, but that only made our friendships and will to get better even stronger.

Do you have any advice for the younger athletes?
Always work your hardest. Set your goals high and then achieve even higher goals, but don't let it get to your head. Just because you achieved something doesn't mean you stop, keep working and you'll continue to do better.

What are you college/career plans?
I am going to Indiana tech university where I will run track. I plan to major in computer science.

Who would you like to thank?
Firstly, I would like to thank god for letting me experience so much. Then I would like to thank my mom for all the support she has gave me throughout my whole track career. Lastly I would to thank my teammates because without all the times they pushed me, I would have never achieved anything.
