St. Xavier comes in with the five fastest times in Kentucky based on the 2013 XC season.  They are led by Spencer Hayden's 15:54 from the Nike Cross Southeast Regional last November.  He placed 15th overall in Class AAA at the Kentucky State Cross Country Meet.

Assumption comes in on top based strictly on returning times from the 2013 XC season.  The team will attempt to reload after losing five seniors up front.  They are led by Abbie Wright's 18:51 from the Region 4 Championship last November.
