All spectators must enter the meet venue through Huffman Pavilion.

COURSE MAP: Woodford 2k, 3k, 4k, and 5k Maps, (Elementary runners will run a shortened course which can be found in the link below.)

Beat the Heat Elementary Course

We are monitoring the current forecast for high heat for next Tuesday and have the following plan in place.

1.) All Elementary Races will run a shortened course (the same course as the Beat the Heat Course). This course is 1500M.

2.) The time schedule will be adjusted as follows: 

3.) We will measure the Wet Bulb Globe Temperature per KHSAA Guidelines multiple times on MONDAY night (8/31). These readings will help us determine if we need to cancel any races due to heat.

4.) I will send an email update on Monday night (8/31) by 8:00PM that will communicate our decision to either continue with the meet or cancel sections of the meet due to heat.

5.) If we cancel any races we would cancel in this order, K-3 Races, then 4-5 Races, then Middle School/High School Races. (Our goal is to be able to run all races)

6.) If we are able to race, we will have two water stations on course and will have a cooling station available at our trainers tent.

TEAM SIZE: Unlimited.

Entries through KyMilesplit by August 28th. Please bring any additions/corrections to your roster to the meet and we will take care of those issues then. Late entries will not be accepted.

CONCESSIONS: A small concession stand will be available in the pavilion.

We invite all spectators to watch the races along the course near the start and finish line areas.  Please remind your parents/fans and other non-competing athletes to be aware of their presence while cheering the runners and not to impede any runner from any team.
