Jaguars Cross Country is pleased to invite you to participate in the fourth annual Jaguars Classic.
When - August 29th, 2026
Where - Idlewild Park, 5550 Idlewild Rd Burlington KY. Back area of park.
Time - First race is at 8:30 a.m. HS Varsity Girls then HS Varsity Boys. MS girls will start at 10:30 with rolling schedule for the rest of the day.
Cost - $60 per race per team (unattached or Individual runner $10 per race)
Entry Deadline: August 25th, 2026 @ 9:00 pm. Preliminary rosters will be sent to the listserve on 8/26/2026. MileSplit will be re-opened with a last chance to make modifications by 8/27/2026 @ 9:00 pm. After 8/27/2026 9:00 pm any athlete additions will need to be made on race day at the timers table and will be $5 payable to C3 Timing. Cash only.
Other info - Any athlete added after "final team rosters" are sent out (with competitor number assignments) will be charged $5.00 per addition (only cash only payable to C3 Timing.)
Plenty of parking and handicap parking. Please no dogs. The last parking lot in the park will be reserved for coaches and handicap only. There is additional parking in the front of the park. You can drop your runner off, if need be, and park up front. Please refrain from parking in the grass. Travelin' Tom's Coffee, Kona Ice and Better Blends will be available to everyone.
Team Check-In - a representative from each team will need to come to the team check-in table on race day to pay fees to receive their team's packet that will include bibs, maps, and starting block assignments. All checks can be made out to Boone County Jaguars XC. Checks can be dropped off at the check-in table.

Distance
Schedule - First race starts at 8:30 am. There will be a time gap between high school and middle school girls starting, but this will allow time to free up parking. Middle school girls will start at 10:30 with a rolling start schedule thereafter.
