10th Annual MAD MARSHAL DASH
WHEN:THURSDAY, OCTOBER 1, 2026
WHERE: Marshall County High School Campus, located one mile off Exit 47 of the Purchase Parkway on Hwy 68 in Draffenville, KY.
WHO: Any middle school AND varsity team who wish to experience a unique racing event.
PLEASE READ CLOSELY!
WHAT: Middle school and varsity teams will compete together as one team
in the TWO mile race.
Top 5 varsity and top 3 middle school runners will combine for one score USING AVERAGE TEAM TIMES! Also, teams will be divided into two groups and start on two different starting lines and race on two separate courses. Both courses will merge into one race prior to the one mile marker. In order to score as a team, you must have 5 high school AND 3 middle school runners. Teams may still participate even if they do not have a combined 3 middle school and 5 high school runners. They will not be eligible for team awards, however, and the very low entry fee will remain the same.
ADMISSION FEE: There will be a $5 per car entry fee for fans. Please enter using the HWY 68 entrance. The
HWY 641 entrance will be closed.
MEET SCHEDULE:
Based on arrival of teams:
5:00 PM Mixed Elementary 1 Mile Run
5:30 PM Girls Race
6:00 PM Boys Race
SCORING:
The varsity races will be scored using Hy-Tek software. Runners will be assigned numbers and the
numbers MUST be placed on the front of the RIGHT hand.
AWARDS:
Overall Male and Female
Team awards are based on the top 5 high school plus top 3 middle
school runners.
- Top two teams Boys receive 5 medals for varsity, 5 medals
for middle school
- Top two teams Girls receive 5 medals for varsity, 5 medals
for middle school
