Meet Information
Atherton High School invites middle and elementary schools to the Flying Raven Challenge on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026. Held on our scenic and spectator-friendly course, runners will race over rolling grass and trails, including a unique section through the "bamboo forest." We hope you'll join us for a fun evening of competition. This meet has been rescheduled from its original date of Sept. 3 due to heat.
When: Wednesday, Sept. 9
Where: Atherton High School, 3000 Dundee Road, Louisville, KY 40205
The top 15 finishers in each race will receive medals and winners will receive t-shirts. The top two teams in each race will receive a team award. (Winning team and top 10 finishers per gender will receive awards in K-2 race.)
$5 per runner with a max of $250 per school. All entries must be made by Sunday, Sept. 6 at 11:00 p.m.

Girls & Boys K-2nd 2k: 6:30 p.m.
Girls 3rd-5th 2k: 6:50 p.m.
Boys 3rd-5th 2k: 7:10 p.m.
Girls Middle School 3k: 7:30 p.m.
Admission
Gate admission is $5 cash. Tickets can also be purchased digitally via GoFan. Children 10 and under are free.
