Williamsburg High School & Williamsburg Runners Welcomes You to the
Fog River Run Invitational
When: Saturday, October 3, 2026
Where: Whitley County Fairgrounds: 834 Savoy/Clear Creek Rd.
Directions: If Traveling From the North: Take Exit 11 off of I-75, turn left. Go to 2nd stop light at 92/25 intersection, turn right on 25 south, drive approximately .5 miles, (just past Firestone), take a left on Savoy/Clear Fork Rd towards Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, cross RR tracks sets x 3, then about .8 miles turn left on Horseshow Way (formerly Stark Rd.) to Fairgrounds Rd. (there will be signs).

7:30 Course open for warmups until 9:45
9:00 Fog River Run Coaches Challenge/Open 5K race $5 Ind.
10:00 Girls Varsity 5K Unlimited $50 team/$10 ind.
10:45 Boys Varsity 5K Unlimited $50 team/$10 ind.
11:30 MS Combined 4K Unlimited $25 team/$5 ind.
12:00 Team Awards for Girls Varsity, Boys Varsity, and Middle School
12:30 Elem Girls (K-3) 2K Unlimited $25 team/$5 ind.
12:45 Elem Boys (K-3) 2K Unlimited $25 team/$5 ind.
1:00 Elem Girls (4-6) 2K Unlimited $25 team/$5 ind.
1:15 Elem Boys (4-6) 2K Unlimited $25 team/$5 ind.
* Top five runners for each team score; remaining runners push

***Events will start on time as scheduled (or later) unless the meet official determines heat/weather to be an issue. The official would then reserve the right to switch to a rolling schedule for the safety of all involved.
Anyone can run in the open race!! So invite your coaches, parents, alumni, managers, school administrators...anybody you would like to see dress out and teach your athletes how to run the 5K!
Awards:
Fog River Open Race: Top 3 Male, Top 3 Female
Varsity: Medals for top 15 boys and top 15 girls
Middle School: Medals for top 15 boys and top 15 girls
Elementary K-3: Medals for top 15 boys and top 15 girls
Elementary 4-6: Medals for top 15 boys and top 15 girls
Medals to be given out in the chute. Also, the top ten in each race will receive the Fog River Top Finisher T-shirt. Athletes finishing in the top ten will take their medal to the t-shirt table near the announcer to receive their finisher t-shirt.
Team Trophies: 1st place team trophies for K-3, 4-6, Middle, High School.
**Concessions will be available* Several food trucks will also be on site. Event t-shirts will also be for sale for $20.
**Admission: $10 Per Carload** or 5.00 per person.
Registration: Deadline is Sept.29th. Enter on kymilesplit.com. or contact Kevin Brooks at 606-524-1157 to enter the open 5K. Invoices will be available at the packet pickup tent.
