Location: Apollo High School, 2280 Tamarack Rd, Owensboro, KY 42301
Admission: $5.00 - 1st Grade and Up, Kindergarten and under are free.
Meet Time and Date: Tuesday, May 7th. Field Events and the girls 4x800m will begin at 5:15. There will be a very brief coaches meeting at the finish line once all schools have arrived. Implement weigh-in for shot put and discus start at approximately 4:45.
Entries: Schools will be permitted to enter 3 athletes in the individual events and one team per relay. Athletes may compete in a maximum of four events.
Entries DUE: Entries are due by 12:00 pm Tuesday, May 5th. Competitor Numbers, a preliminary Performance List, and general instructions will be emailed out Tuesday around 3:00pm. After which coaches can make scratches and substitutions until noon on Thursday. Changes in individual events will not be permitted after this time. As long as athletes stay under the 4 event limit you may make changes to relays at any point.
General Meet Information: All events will be contested, and we will follow the standard order of events. Pole Vault will be the only non-scored event.
Track Events: 4x800 - 100h - 100m - 4x200 - 1600m - 4x100 - 400m - 300h - 800m - 200m - 3200m - 4x400
Field Events: Girls Disc (followed by boys), Boys Shot Put (followed by girls), Girls High Jump (followed by boys), Girls & Boys Long Jump (followed by Triple Jump), Girls & Boys Pole Vault will be contested together, details for the TurnoJav will be emailed out the week of the event.
Scoring & Timing: Scoring for the meet will be 8-6-4-2-1 for individual events, and 8-6-4-2 for the relays (T&F Scoring Table). Only two athletes per events will be permitted to score in each event. We will be timing the meeting using FinishLynx Fully Automated Timing.
