The Blue & Gold Invitational
When: Friday, April 17, 2026
Where: Barren County High School - Trojan Field - 507 Trojan Trail, Glasgow, KY 42141

Time Schedule: All times are Central Standard Time
4:15- Facility opens for Teams (Do not try to enter before 4:15, you will be asked to return to the Bus)
***All athletes not arriving on a school bus MUST pass through the Open Gate System***
4:30- Field Event warmups and Open Track
4:30- Facility opens to Spectators (All must pass through Open Gate)
5:00- Coaches Meeting at the Start Line
5:15- First Call Fields Events & 4X800 - Track Closed for Warmups
5:30- Field Events & 4x800 begin
5:30- Laned Running events begin on a rolling schedule
** Buses will park at the upper parking lot in front of BCHS - Signage will be available **
** This meet will be cut off at 16 teams **
Order of Running Events: All events, Girls followed by Boys

Order of Field Events:
- Boys Shot Put, Girls to follow
- Girls Discus, boys to follow
- Boys Long Jump, Girls Long Jump to follow:
- Triple Jump after the conclusion of Long Jump. 15-minute warm-up, boys and girls will jump together
- Pole Vault: Begins once Boys Long Jump Concludes
- Girls High jump, boys to follow
Scoring: 2 scorers, 1 relay (10,8,6,5,4,3,2,1)
Infield:
Only athletes checked in for events should be on the infield. Once an event is over, please leave the infield.
There should be NO FOOD on the infield
Coaches may be on the infield and in the event areas as long as they do not interfere with events/event staff
Awards: Top 2 Teams Boys and Girls
Medals: Top 3 Finishers Each Event
- Awards will be announced throughout the evening. Awards cannot be picked up prior to the awards being announced. Any medals won will be placed in a team packet and given to the coach at the END of the meet. Please do not send athletes to the awards tent asking for their medals.
Fees: $75 Per Gender, total of $150

If you are unable to mail a check, you may bring it on the day of the meet.

**We will NOT allow substitutions/Additions on the day of the meet in running or field events**
Spectators:
- Must pass through the Open Gate System
- $7 Cash Per Person
- Gates open for Spectators at 4:30
- Must remain in the stands; we cannot have spectators on the infield or in the event areas around the track. You will be asked to go back to the stands.
TEAM NOTICE: Glasgow or Barren County Athletics does not allow for the participation of unattached athletes, club teams, home school athletes, home school cooperatives, or private schools not affiliated with KHSAA or neighboring state associations (IHSAA, TSSAA, OHSAA....) in this event.
