This meet is broken into 2 divisions - K-2nd grade division and 3rd-4th grade division. Divisions will run separately according to gender, and each will be scored individually.
Eligibility - all Louisville area (CSAA) catholic elementary school track and field student-athletes in grades K-4th are eligible. No student-athletes 5th grade or older may compete.
Location - Assumption Green Sports Complex, 4500 Champions Trace Ln, Louisville, KY 40218
Time - running and field events begin at 1PM, (estimated schedule below). Coaches meeting at 12:30PM at the finish line.
Registration - Teams will use athletic.net to register their athletes for races. Races will be grouped by grade level and gender. Registrations are due Thursday, May 1st at 11PM. All teams must submit entries on athletic.net by that date. No late entries will be accepted, and competitors cannot be added on meet day.

Admission - General Admission - $5.00, 12 & Under Free - CASH ONLY
Concessions - will be available on site, sold by Assumption Athletics, gates open at 12PM
Participant Entry fees - $10 per competitor for up to 4 events (includes relay). Fees will be billed by the Ascension Parish office directly to each school for each participant registered (no shows included). You may also pay on the day of the meet at the coaches meeting/check-in. There will be a maximum entry fee of $125 per gender, per school, $250 entry fee maximum.
Limit of Events - Each participant is allowed to enter a maximum of 4 events, which includes the 4x100 meter relay. Any athletes competing in more than 4 events will have his or her points disqualified from all events.
Entry Limits - in an effort to run and efficient and timely meet, we will be limiting each school to six entries per division, per event for running and four entries per event for the field events. Subject to change based on estimated time of the meet, but we are looking to keep this meet under three hours start to finish.
(Tentative) Order of Running Events - rolling schedule (K-2nd Boys, K-2nd Girls, 3rd-4th Boys, 3rd-4th Girls)
No starting blocks will be used in this meet...
1600m run (likely will be combined heats)
100m dash
400m dash (waterfall start)
800m run (may combine heats also)
200m dash (waterfall start K-2)
4x100m relay (max two teams per school)
Field Events (Three Attempts Each) - Shot Put, Javelin, and Long Jump are all open pits. Implements will be provided for Shot Put and Javelin. Student-athletes will be required to use the community implements. Maximum of ONE warm up throw/run through will be given per student-athlete. It is the responsibility of the coach to get student-athletes to their events during the time frames listed below. Student-athletes not checking in during the allotted timeframes below will not be able to participate in the event.
Long Jump -Long Jump Pits are located in the southeast D-zone closest to the softball field. Student-athletes will jump from the board closest to the pit.
3rd-4th Boys Long Jump - 1:00PM - 1:45PM - Pit 1
3rd-4th Girls Long Jump - 1:00PM - 1:45PM - Pit 2
K-2nd Boys Long Jump - 1:45PM - 3:30PM - Pit 1
K-2nd Girls Long Jump - 1:45PM - 3:30PM - Pit 2
Shot Put - (2KG - K-2nd Grade and 6LB - 3rd-4th Grade) Shot Put Pit is located between the track and softball field. Boys and Girls will participate together but results will be separated.
K-2nd 2KG Shot Put (Boys and Girls) - 1:00PM - 1:45PM
3rd-4th 6LB Shot Put (Boys and Girls) - 1:45PM - 2:15PM
Turbo Javelin - (300g - K-2nd Grade and 3rd-4th Grade Boys and Girls) Runway located at the Northwest D-zone (Closest to Champions Trace Lane/parking lot). All divisions will participate together but results will be separated.
All Divisions on two runways - 2:15PM - 3:30PM
Awards - Top 3 finishers in each event will receive first, second, or third place ribbons at the awards table after results are verified. We will not ship these to teams this season, please ensure your kids pick them up before they leave. Team trophies for the 1st and 2nd place team in each division will also be awarded.
