    All Entries Should be Completed by 9:00 PM;  Friday, Sept. 13, 2024

SANCTION 

This meet is sanctioned for Virginia, Tennessee, and Kentucky High School teams.  All athletes must be a current member of their high school team and must be accompanied by a coach from that team. All schools must be a member of a State Association that is a member of the NFHS or an approved association.

Time Schedule:

8:30- Course Opens 

9:00 a.m. -Coaches Meeting 

9:15 a.m.- Middle School Girls Race (3k) (Unlimited) 

10:00 a.m. -Middle School Boys Race (3k) (Unlimited)  

10: 30 a.m.- Mixed Elementary Race (1k) (Unlimited) 

 10:50 a.m. - Varsity Girls Race (5k) (Unlimited) 

 11:30 a.m. - Varsity Boys Race (5k) (Unlimited) 

Award Ceremony at 12:15pm 

Awards:

Top 15 Girls and Boys Varsity
Top 10 Girls and Boys Middle School

Top 2 Teams Girls and Boys Varsity will receive a team plaque 

Top 2 Teams Girls and Boys Middle School will receive a team plaque. 

Entry Fee: $45 per high school team, $75 if both girls and boys teams are entered; $30 per middle school team, $50 if both girls and boys teams are entered; $5 per athlete if no team is registered. 

Entry Deadline: September 13th @ 9:00 p.m.

Course Info: This year's event will be electronically timed and scored. The course has been altered with the distance being 5k (3.1 miles) for the high school course, 3k (1.7 miles) for the middle school course and 1k for the elementary course. The course is challenging, travelling through and around the Cumberland Bowl Park. The main surface is grass/gravel with approximately .3 miles on pavement.

Parking: Buses and Cars will park along Cumberland Bowl

Team Camps: Will be located at the Start/Finish area 

Team Packet Pick-up: Will be located under the White Tent at the Start/Finish area
