Meet Information
Bowling Green Purple Striders are excited to host our first meet of the year, we look forward to a fun and competitive atmosphere.
Entries: All entries will be through KY Milesplit. The entry deadline will be Tuesday March 19th, 2024 at midnight.
Coaches can enter 6 athletes per team for individual events and 2 relay per team, but only top two per team will be scored and first placing relay team. Athletes are limited to compete in no more than 4 events total across track and field.
Entry Fees: $75 per boys teams and $75 per girls teams or $10 per athlete, if you have a smaller team or you are running unattached.
Checks can handed in during the coaches meeting at the start of the track meet and team packets will be handed out.

Thursday March 21st Meet Schedule:
4:45pm Coaches Meeting at Start/Finish Line
5:00pm Start of Field Events;
-High Jump (Girls followed by Boys)
-Shot Put (Boys followed by Girls)
-Discus (Girls followed by Boys)
-Long Jump (Boys and Girls)
-Triple Jump (Girls and Boys)
5:15pm Start of Running Events on a rolling schedule *(Girls, then Boys for all events):
-4x800m relay
-100/110m hurdles
-100m dash
-4x200m relay
-1600m run
-4x100m relay
-400m dash
-300m hurdles
-800m run
-200m dash
-3200m run
-4x400m relay
All field events will have 4 attempts each with top 8 best overall getting points.
All heats will run with best 8 times overall getting points.
Scoring: We will score eight places as follows: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1.
Awards: Medals will be awarded for 1st through 3rd places. Trophies will be awarded to top Male and Female Track athlete and Field athlete.
Medals and Trophies will be mailed if schools are unable to wait till the end of the meet.
All NFHS and KHSAA rules will be followed. Each competitor will be assigned a number and that number should be placed on both hands. If a competitor shows up to an event without a number they will be scratched.
Substitutions can be made at the start line but no additions. Athlete must already have a number to be a substitute. All throwing implements will be weighed from 4:00pm till 4:45pm.
Team tents in grass areas only, around the track.
Please park buses according to the bus parking (also will be sent ahead of time).
Thursday gates open at 3:30pm fee will be $6 adults, children under 12 are free.
Coaches get free meals please draw an X on your right hand and show it at concessions for your meal.
