Meet Information
Competition will be open to all High School eligible athletes (grades 7 through 12). It will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024 in the new Indoor Track & Field Facility on the campus of Centre College in Danville, Ky.
Doors will open at 10:00am with weigh-ins beginning immediately; the girls' warm-ups will start at 11:00am; competition for the girls will begin at 12:00 (noon). Boys will start their warm-ups 15 minutes after the girls finish, and their competition will start one hour after their warm-ups have started. NFHS Track and Field Rules will be used with one exception--after one hour of competition, all athletes who have not entered the competition will be given two attempts without the bar or bungee. Those athletes will also be allowed their two-minute warm-up prior to entering the competition.
Competition will be on an individual basis; therefore, no team scores will be kept. Each team can submit as many pole vaulters as they have. For the athlete's height to potentially count as a qualifier for the KHSAA State Meet, the High School coach or the athlete must register the athlete with the school's affiliation. In other words, the athlete must represent their school at the competition. However, Clubs and individuals are welcome to register under the Club's name or as an unattached competitor.
Fees can be paid by cash or check. The following chart illustrates fees that will be charged:

A Coach's Box will be provided which will allow the coach to fully view each athlete's jump. Only coaches and photographers will be allowed inside the coach's box. Each coach should be able to view and film the entire jump.
Except for water, food or drink are not allowed in the indoor facility. Only 1/4" pyramid spikes will be allowed on the surface. All participants must print and sign the waiver which can be found at the following address: https://usatf.sport80.com/uploads/usatf_waiver-2021-11-12.pdf. Print it, fill it out, and bring it to the meet. You will not be allowed to participate without a signed waiver.
