Runners can race the full race distance or just 1 or 2 cloverleaf "race segments" depending on their fitness level.
Coaches or the runnners choose to begin on one of 3 different starting lines and they will race the cloverleaf course. Each of the 3 "cloverleaf" segments is a separate race scored as a team.
As individuals, runners can race to score in only 1 or 2 of the cloverleafs,....BUT they may continue running the all the cloverleaf race segments in a clockwise manner in order to run a full longer race distance. (This allows fit runners to put in a full race distance for the day, but less fit runners might only race 1 or 2 smaller distance legs)
Athletes choosing to complete all 3 cloverleaf courses for the full race distance will have their times compiled for an additional overall finish result listing of individuals.
The overall team winner will be the team with the lowest team scoring points added from all three races. (If a team gets 1st in all 3 "segment" races, that would be 3 points. If a team gets 1st in one of the cloverleaf races, 2nd in another cloverleaf race, and 4th in the remaining cloverleaf race- that would be 1 + 2 + 4 = 7 points)
High School 5000m race at 9:30am Boys/10:15am Girls (Cloverleaf distances of 1200m, 1600m, 2200m)
Middle School (4th-8th) 3000m race at 11am Boys/11:30am Girls (Cloverleaf distances of 800m, 1000m, 1200m)
Elementary (K-5) 2000m race at 12:15pm Boys/12:45pm Girls (Cloverleaf distances of 500m, 700m, 800m)
Team entry is free
Spectators $7 for adults over 18
