Meet Information
Unfortunately, after talking to
our timers, officials, and athletic director we are going to cancel tomorrow's
JV and Youth/Open meet at Eastern. We are seeing nearly 100% chance of
rain throughout the afternoon and evening with some heavy bouts of rain and
potential for storms. With the number of teams and individuals impacted
we wanted to plan ahead and make the decision in advance.
We may consider adding a date to
our calendar if we can line up all of the necessary parts (timing, track
availability, our team scedule, and officials/volunteers) and would offer it
exclusively to the teams registered in this event.
If you are scheduled to attend
one of our other Middletown Track Series Events please register early as we are
capping the size of these meets to ensure we hold to our time window.
The youth meet has reached capacity, no new teams will be accepted.

JV Mini-Meet
The JV mini-meet will aim to conclude in about an hour. It is specifically designed for JV and developmental athletes. The schedule of events will be very limited, aiming to provide competitive opportunities for athletes that are not competing in varsity invitational meets.
Start at 4:30pm.
400m, 1600m, 100m, 800m
Long Jump, Shot Put- Open Pit- 4:30-5:30 boys and girls together.
*We will utilize a waterfall for some sections of the 400m dash, if needed
Entry Fee: $50 per gender team, $100 max per school

Youth Mini-Meet
The youth meet has reached capacity, no new teams will be accepted.
Starting at approximately 5:30pm following the conclusion of the HS JV mini-meet.
Schedule of events: 100m, 800m, 400m, 1600,
Long Jump- boys from 5:30-6:30, girls from 6:30-7:30
Shot Put- girls from 5:30-6:30, boys from 6:30-7:30
Most sections of the 400m will be run using a waterfall start.
The 100m will be contested without blocks.
Parking: We have two large parking lots at Eastern and both can access the track stadium. Typically, the gym/stadium lot fills very quickly. Consider using the lot off Hite Road for quicker access. If those lots both fill, or are busy, further down Hite Road is a gravel lot near our baseball field (just past our soccer/lacrosse field). Please do not park in non-parking spots, in the grass, or along Hite Rd.
Tickets: For after school meets typically everyone arrives in a tight window, purchasing tickets in advance will expedite getting in to the stadium.

This Youth Mini-meet should conclude around 8pm. The schedule of events will be very limited, aiming to provide a very concise competitive opportunity for elementary and middle school teams and individuals. These meets will feature FAT live results with our timing partner DC Race Timing (www.dcracetiming.com).
