The Trigg County Invitational has been held every year since the late 1970's. For the past several years, it has been held in honor of the late Fenton Dawson, who was an outstanding alumni of Trigg County Cross Country. Fenton tragically died in the Lexington Comair Crash in 2006.

Timing/Results
The timing and results will be done by Mid South Race Timing. One of the premier timing companies in Kentucky. They will provide several features not found at other meets. Live online results will be on results.midsouthracetiming.com (direct link to this meet will be provided closer to the meet date). Mile and two mile splits will be included in the live online results and will also be displayed in real time on a video scoreboard at the finish line. Finish times will be on the results website in real time and also on the video scoreboard at the finish line.
