Rule of Competition
8 places will be scored in all championship events (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1). The top two athletes from each team in each event are eligible to score the team points. For example, if School A has five athletes in the top 8 in the 1600, only the top two would score team points.
No athlete will be allowed to compete without a competitor number.
The competition area is restricted to coaches and athletes competing in an event. Spectators, team camps, etc. are not allowed inside the fence.
The games committee will determine the opening height for the high jump and pole vault upon finalization of the entries.
Reporting to Events
Athletes should report to the clerk at the first call of their event. Running events check-in with the clerk at the designated tent in the middle of the field. Field events should check-in at the location of their events.
Athletes who do not report by the third call will be scratched from the event.
If an athlete is competing in a field and a running event at the same time, it is the responsibility of the athlete to communicate any potential conflict with the respective field event official and check-in clerk and resolve that conflict (e.g. changing the jump order so that an athlete can compete in a running event).
