Our beautiful blue 8-laned rubberized track will provide all athletes the opportunity to run blazing fast times, as they are rounding into post-season shape. Our hurdles, starting blocks, throws area, and both the high jump and vault pits not only meet all high school standards but also all NCAA standards.

For the friends and families of the athletes sitting in the stands, all running AND field events can easily be seen from the home bleachers.  Not only can spectators watch each event from the home bleachers they can also track the progress of each field event athlete as we have performance boards for each field event.

Meet Time and Date:  Saturday, May 14th, 2022.  All events will begin at 10:00am.  There will be a coaches meeting at the north end of the football field at 9:15am.

Entries:  Each team will be permitted to enter 2 athletes per event laned event and field event, 3 athletes in the non-laned events, and one team per relay.  If you have a third athlete in an event that is a high-level athlete, feel free to email Coach Shoulta about entering an additional athlete in an event.  If you have a large team and would like the opportunity to enter more athletes, B teams will be permitted for an extra fee. 

Entry Fees: The entry fee will be $80 for a boys' team and $80 for a girls' team.  A full team will be considered any team that enters more than 4 athletes.  Teams entering less than 4 athletes may pay $10 per athlete.  There will be a charge of $50/gender to enter a B Team.  All mailed Entry Fees should be postmarked by Tuesday, May 10th.  Please attn: Charlie Shoulta.  If you do not mail your entry fee please bring them on the day of the competition.  Make checks payable to Apollo High School.  

Entries:  Entries are due by midnight on Tuesday, May 10th.  Preliminary performance lists and rosters will be sent out to coaches by noon Thursday.  Coaches will have until midnight on Thursday, May 12th to make adjustments, and a final performance list will be sent out Friday.  After this time only substitutions will be permitted. 

General Meet Information:  We will follow the standard order of events with the addition of the freshman mile.  We will be running the full mile in lieu of the 1600m.  Athletes can compete in a max of four total events.

Awards: Medals will be awarded to 1st-3rd place in each event.  The 1st and 2nd place teams will receive team trophies.

Scoring & Timing:  Scoring for the meet will be 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for both individual events and relays.  We will be timing the meet using FinishLynx Fully Automated Timing.

Spectator Information:  We will be selling concessions, and spectators are not allowed to bring in outside food and beverages.

Admission: The cost of admission will be $5.00 for adults and students.
