Meet Information
Update Wednesday, September, 16th:
- Coaches, please look for the email sent Sunday night with meeting link information. It's at the bottom of the email. You may have over looked it. Otherwise, contact me if you need the link.
- Media is only permitted in Spectator Area. Contact me or Michelle with name of staff and show ID at gate.
- Your entire school/team info will be in one packet. Coaches only to pick up packet, no athletes.
Update Monday, September 14th:
- Coaches meeting Wednesday, Sept. 16 @ 7:30 PM central time (contact Jef/Michelle if you need link)
- Spectators, masks must be properly worn at all times in the spectator area, not just while passing through the spectator gate. By entering the spectator area, you agree to wear your mask at all times. Please keep this requirement in perspective, it is about watching your kids run, nothing else.

INITIAL 2020 GATORLAND GUIDLINES: We are currently developing guidelines to make GATORLAND a safe event for all participants, spectators and staff. While we continue to work out the details, please note the following high level items we are working towards. Also, please be aware that requirements/guidelines will most likely evolve between now and September 18th-19th.
- Two day meet
- Limiting each race to 100 runners (10 max per team per race per gender)
- No wave starts. We plan to run a traditional race
- Two HS boys races and two HS girls races
- One JV Boys race and one HS girls race
- One ES boys races and one ES girls races
- One MS boys race and one MS girls race
- We are working out a plan to allow spectators, but numbers will be limited (approx. 400)
Coaches, the Greenwood Cross Country team welcomes you and your runners to our annual Gatorland Run, being held September 18TH/19th at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green.
Our course is predominantly on grass with the exception of some gravel under the overpass. Courses are flat and fast (the gravel hill has been eliminated).

Awards:
Coaches will collect individual awards for their team at the Finish Area shed.
- HS Gold: Top 15 medals, Top 2 teams
- HS Green: Top 15 medals, Top 2 teams
- HS JV: Top 15 medals, Top 2 teams
- Middle School: Top 15 medals, Top 2 teams
- Elementary: Top 15 medals, Top 2 teams
Enrty Fees: Individuals $10 each, Team fees (5 or more) noted below
- Elementary Girls and Boys $50 per gender
- Middle School Girls and Boys $50 per gender
- HS JV Girls and Boys $75 per gender
- HS Varsity Girls and Boys $75 per gender

Directions to Phil Moore Park:
From I-65 North, take exit 22 and stay left (231 South) towards Scottsville. Continue on Scottsville Rd for 3 miles. Phil Moore park is located on the right.
From 1-65 South, take exit 20 and stay right (I-165 South) towards Scottsville. Continue on I-165 for 1.8 miles. Turn right on Scottsville Road (231 South). Continue on Scottsville Road for .75 miles. Phil Moore park is located on the right.
Parking:
Buses can turn into main entrance to unload runners and equipment and will be directed from there.
Those needing accessible parking and with the appropriate vehicle placard will be given priority parking.
Spectator parking will be available at the main entrance on Scottsville Road.
OVERFLOW parking will be located across the road. SPECTATORS ARE NOT TO WALK ACROSS SCOTTSVILLE RD (HWY 231). THIS IS A HUGE SAFETY ISSUE. Please follow directions to the spectator entrance under the bridge.
There will be a $5 admission fee for spectators collected at gate. NO FEE FOR PARKING THIS YEAR.
