Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2019 Lafayette Middle School Invitational. This meet is open to any middle school teams, Club teams, or unattached individuals(grades 6-8)in Kentucky. Lafayette High School track offers a rubberized 8-lane 400 meter surface around a turf field and includes, jumping pits, pole vault pit, hurdles, starting blocks, and throwing cages.All Kentucky events(including Turbo Jav and Pole Vault) will be contested.

Coaches Meeting @ 5:15 pm
Field & Running Events Begin @ 5:30 pm.Running Events will be on a rolling schedule in the following order:

Entry Fees: $45 per gender team (boys/girls). Please make checks payable to Lafayette High School Track & Field. One check can be made for $90 for both teams representing one school. Bringing entry fee checks the day of is acceptable and can be turned in during the coaches meeting. Individuals competing will pay $10 per athlete.

Entries: Please submit all entries online at ky.milesplit.com by April 8th at midnight. Faxed or mailed entries will not be accepted. Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed to coaches prior to the meet. They will also be made available in packets during the coaches meeting the day of the meet. Each team will be limited to 3 entries per individual event and 1 relay team per relay event. Each individual athlete has a 4 event entry maximum.
Parking: We ask that you avoid parking street side near the track to prevent traffic violations and problems. Parking will be available on Reed Ln. in front of the Lafayette. Any overflow will need to park on Springhill Drive, behind the baseball field.
Additional parking will be available on site near the softball and baseball fields on Springhill Dr.
Buses will be asked to park behind the track near the softball field, on Springhill Drive as well.
Awards:Team awards will be given to the 1st and 2nd place girls and boys teams. Awards will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event.
Scoring: 10-8-6-4-2-1
Concessions & Kettlecorn will be sold during the meet for your enjoyment.
Tickets: $4/adults, $2/students, age 5 & under is free.
