Meet Information
We would like to invite all high schools to attend the Marion County All-Comers meet at our new 8 lane rubberized track. We have new college level pole vault and high jump pits and discus cage. We will supply all the necessary workers at field events and relay exchanges so coaches can actually supervise their athletes at the meet.
Timing will be supplied by Tim King.
There is no cost for this meet.
Concessions will be available.
The coaches meeting will take place on the infield at 5:00PM and all events will start at 5:30PM. The meet will run on a rolling schedule. In the place of finals, each athlete will be given four throws in the discus and shot put; however, to conserve time, only the first successful throw will be measured for everyone. After that, only throws reaching a set standard will be recorded. The same idea will be employed in the long jump and triple jump. Pole vault and high jump may combine male and female athletes, depending on the number of participants.
