Thank you all for your patience with us this year. We have had issues with getting a track, then getting timers and on and on......
We have moved our meets to Waggener. The AD has been great. We are hosting our meet on May 1st, 5:00, same format as at Eastern. $50 per team (boys&girls=$100) Checks made out to Hite and send to Joy, admission for adults $5.
We will try to get field events rolling as soon as we get workers, so just keep and eye out for those events. Hopefully at least by 4:45.
Things have gone very well with the Waggener AD. I am hopeful that they will host events in the future. Please remind your parents to stay in the stands, to follow all parking rules and directions. We really would like to be invited back.
I will double check with Waggener (they have construction going on) about parking. The lot in front of the school is ok, but I believe you have to walk around the track to get in. I believe if we park at St Mathews Elem you have a short walk to the correct side of the track.
We will have workers directing parking.
