Bracken County Invitational
Bracken County High School
April 7th, 2018
Thank you for your interest in attending the Inaugural Bracken County Invitational. We have a brand new 8 lane track and will contest all field events with the exception of pole vault. Please submit your entries online at ky.milesplit.com. Faxed or written entries will not be accepted. Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed to coaches prior to the meet. They will also be available in the packets handed out at the coaches meeting.
Where: Bracken County High School (350 West Miami Street, Brooksvillle, KY 41004)
Start Time: Coaches Meeting 10:00am
Field Events: 10:15am
Track Events 10:30am
Cost: Entry Fee is $75 per team (boys and girls will count as two teams). Schools with fewer than 7 runners in either gender can enter athletes for $10 each or $25 per relay. You can enter a B as well for the same entry fee as a full team. Please make checks payable to Bracken County High School Track and Field and mail them to:

Meet Format: Running and field events will be in the regular order on a rolling schedule.
Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1
Awards: There will be a team awards for the 1st and 2nd place teams on the girls and the boys side. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event with ribbons for fourth through eighth.
We will give an award to the highest scoring female and male athlete (Relay points to be divided)
Entries: Each team may enter 3 athletes per event and 1 relay team. Athletes may only be entered into 4 events total including relays. The entry deadline is April 2nd . All entries are done on line at www.kytrackxc.com
Admission: to the track will be $5 for adults and $2 for children. *Children under 6 are Free
Concessions will be sold at the meet

Section 2 of any of the field events could begin earlier than 12:30 if section 1 has finished.
10:30 4 x 800 meter relay
100/110 hurdles
100 meter dash
4 x 200 meter relay
1600 meter run
4 x 100 meter relay

Once the running events begin, we will be on a rolling schedule. In all running events, female athletes compete first. ALL running events will check in at the check in area behind the starting line. Athletes need to report to the check in on second call. This will enable athletes to check in and then report back to their field event until their event is ready to run.
