Southern Harrier Classic
September 16, 2017
Southwestern High School proudly extends this invitation to compete in the 20th annual cross country Southern Harrier Classic.
The course is located at GE Field and offers one of the best-known and challenging courses in the state. Situated in beautiful Somerset, Kentucky the course is home to several state champions.
We hope you will add us to your schedule this season. We promise you good eats, nice awards, excellent competition, and the forever memories of running at GE Field.
Entry Deadline: September 13th. All entries need to be completed online. Vickie Hiestand at hiestand3@windstream.net will be doing the timing.

9:00 AM Open Race 5000m $5
10:00 AM Elem. Girls (K-6) 1600 m 10 Unlimited $25/team $6/individual
10:20 AM Elem. Boys (K-6 1600 m 10 Unlimited $25/team $6/individual
10:40 AM Middle Girls (7-8) 3000 m 10 Unlimited $30/team $6/individual
11:15 AM Middle Boys (7-8) 3000 m 10 Unlimited $30/team $6/individual
11:45 AM JV Boys and Girls 5000 m 15 Unlimited $30/team $6/individual
12:15 PM Varsity Girls 5000 m 20 7 $40/team $6/individual
12:45 PM Varsity Boys 5000 m 20 7 $40/team $6/individual
*Team awards will follow the races, elementary after elementary, middle after middle, etc. Individual awards will be handed out in the chute.
*Boys and Girls JV will be run at the same time. There will be separate chutes for each.
*Top 7 in varsity and top 10 in JV must be designated as team A. Extra teams will be designated
B, C and so on.
*Concessions and T-Shirts will be available.
Parking: Free
Admission: $3 per person
Directions:
At Hwy. 27 & 80 intersection go north to 2227 (turn right) go to first light GE Field is on the right. GE Field is located directly across from the Save-a-Lot on KY-1575 (or W. University Dr.) at stoplight one off Highway 27 (buses can let runners off inside GE Field then the buses along with all other vehicles will be directed to go to Pulaski Elementary across from the course). There is no parking in businesses across from GE Field.
