2017 Eagle Classic at LCA

Thank you for your interest in attending the 2017 Eagle Classic at LCA

We look forward to having a great late season meet going into regional week.

We have an 8-lane 400 meter track (resurfaced in 2016), two horizontal jump pits, high jump and pole vault. The discus and shot put venues are located next to each other.

We will have an area designated for tent city inside the fence and ask that tents not be set up in the stands.

The LCA Athletic Complex address is 450 W. Reynolds Road, Lexington KY 40503.
(approximately mile west of Fayette Mall and across from Meijer)

The meet will start at 10:00 am.

The track will open for warm ups at 9:15 am.

Coaches meeting at 9:30 am at the finish line.

Competitor numbers will be assigned and emailed to coaches prior to the meet. They will also be available in the packets handed out at the coaches meeting.

Meet Format: Running and field events will be in the regular order on a rolling schedule.

Horizontal Jumps and Throws will be four (4) attempts, no finals.

Between the 4 x 100 meter relay and 400 meter dash we will be recognizing our Lexington Christian Seniors. If you have a Senior that you would like to be recognized, please forward their name(s) and we will provide more details.

Awards: There will be team awards for the 1st and 2nd place teams on the girls and the boys side. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each event with ribbons for fourth through eighth.

Scoring: 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1

Entries: Each team may enter 3 athletes per event (only 2 will score) and 1 relay team. Athletes may only be entered into 4 events total including relays. Schools may enter a B team.

A reminder that all pole vault coaches must be current with their pole vault safety course.

Entry Fees: $75 per team. Boys & Girls are separate teams. $150 for both.
$10 for individuals.
$25 for each additional team. (B teams) If you are planning to enter a B team, you must notify Phil Wilder (p1wilder@windstream.net)

Entries will be online, and the ENTRY DEADLINE IS Wednesday, May 3rd by 11:59 PM.

Faxed or written entries will not be accepted.

Admission: $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12 or adults over 60

Concessions will be sold at the meet.
