Meet Information
Murray High School will be hosting the Inaugural Jimmy Harrell Relays at Murray High School on Saturday May 5th with a start time of 10:30am for Field Events and 12 noon for Running Events.
We have a brand new 8 lane rubberized track behind Murray High School with new Pole Vault & High Jump Pits, 2 separate long and triple jump pits, as well as, a new Discus Cage and Shot Put ring, and brand new Hurdles.

NO Team Awards - Tshirts for Individual and Relay Awards
The format we are using is modeled after the Charlie Harper Relays at Brentwood Academy High School in Brentwood, Tn and is unique to this area.
As a former coach in Tennessee who regulary attended this meet, I thought it was always very competitive and the kids LOVED the change in format and Tshirts for Awards.
Here are some of the unique characteristics of the meet:
1. Field Events are NOT contested in a relay format - 3 entries per Field Event
2. Running Events included: 1600m run at 11:00am during Field Events(non scoring) Unlimited entries
Shuttle Hurdle Relay(3 hurdlers)
4x100
4x800
Sprint Medley(100,100,200,400,)
4x200
Distance Medley (1200,400,800,1600)
4x400 Relay
We think this will be a very fun and competive meet and will be a PERFECT opportunity for your field event athletes and relay teams to post some some great performances before Regionals and to have some fun while they are doing it!
