Kentucky Wesleyan has picked up commitments from two seniors in central Kentucky. Mercer County senior Bryant Qualls and Burgin senior Alex Beckerson have both committed to run XC and track at the Owensboro school.
Qualls ran a season best times of 17:20 at the Greater Louisville Classic this past fall. He was 12th in Class AA in the 1600m at the Kentucky State Track Meet with a 4:42 last spring.
Beckerson, a three-sport star finished 29th in Class A this past fall in at the Kentucky State Cross Country Meet. Last spring he was 3rd overall at the Kentucky State Track Meet in the 1600m with a 4:35.48. He is also a top 20 scorer statewide in basketball.
