The battle for the win at Trimble County is a toss-up with the slightest of advantage going to the home teams, Erin Gotterman.  Little did she realize last week at the Greater Louisville Classic but her main competition this week finished just one place behind her in 93rd place just .29 of a second back.  Gotterman ran a 21:51.11 compared to Kentucky County Day's Sarah Zappone's 21:51.40.  Zappone leads a surging KCD squad that comes in ranked #10 in Class A.  Zappone's teammate Malorie Eisenbrei did not run at GLC, but was within 17 seconds of her at the DeSales Lake View Meet in her last race.  Should be a tight race up front and with the number of runners being so small the team race will probably be just as close between KCD and Trimble.
