This region has changed significantly over the past ten years with the movement of Owensboro Catholic to Class A, the split of Greenwood, and the emergence of current #4-ranked Edmonson County.
Individual Favorite: Clayton Hall (South Warren), Cody Hymer and Tyler Wilkins (Edmonson County)
Hall has posted the fastest time of the group, with his 16:56 at Greater Louisville, but the two teams have only gone heads-up once this year at the Purple Strider Invitational. There, Hymer easily handled Hall, but all three have been all over the map recently. With Steve Eaton heading up the South Warren training, we would naturally tend to lean towards Hall, especially because he showed so well at last year’s regional, but recent numbers would lean towards Hymer and Wilkins leading the way.
