FREE, FREE, FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Racing season has started…great news!!!!  This is the first big weekend of the season with Tiger Run and the Daviess County 6K Relay as the big meets this weekend.  KYtrackXC.com is THE ONE-STOP for all Kentucky Cross Country information this fall. Here you will find coverage for meets from elementary to college.

This morning KYtrackXC.com had live in-race coverage from the Tiger Run (updates here.)  News came in from the Daviess County 6K Relay as well (here.)  These updates are just the beginning of coverage this season. This season’s focus will be on in-race coverage as it is instant and allows anyone to go back, even hours later, and see how a race played out.  We all know the winner in the end does not necessarily lead through the first mile.  Those updates allow everyone to see that. In addition to in-race coverage, look for race previews, post-race interviews and summaries, pictures, videos, results, rankings, and more.

If you are new to the sport or the website, KYtrackXC.com will have all of your results (here.)  Each performance will be added to the athlete’s own personal runner’s page.  You can find the page for your athlete by searching in the box in the top right hand corner or by finding the team they are attached to (team list.)  Those times and performances are ranked and can be broken down just about any way you want them, including overall state, school classification, region, area, zip code, high school, middle school, college.

The weekly meet previews will be of the best one or two meets that week.  KYtrackXC.com photographers will be at two or three meets each week.  Athletes of the week will start up this Monday.  New this year, one athlete of each gender will also be thrown into the Athlete Focus of the Week.  Since KYtrackXC.com has been around almost seven years, expect interviews with former runners from the last seven years and beyond.  If you know of a former athlete who has gone on to do something interesting, let me know at jonathan@kytrackxc.com.

A small percentage of the information on KYtrackXC.com is available only by subscription at a cost of $36.00 for one year.  All of the money goes directly back into KYtrackXC.com to help continue coverage for this state.  Please help support KYtrackXC.com, as subscription dollars pay for gas for driving around the state, equipment, and paying people to help cover meets (in-race coverage, photos, articles, etc.) While I am the webmaster, it is through YOUR support that this site can continue. (Wondering who I am? A Kentucky high school teacher and former runner and coach…more about me.)  If you ever have any questions or comments, please email me at jonathan@kytrackxc.com.

As a WELCOME to all the new (and returning) runners, coaches, and parents, ALL of KYtrackXC.com is FREE for 24 hours beginning at 5:00 PM Eastern Saturday evening.  Please check it out completely and enjoy.  If you like what you see, please come back and subscribe here.
