Kentucky Is Ready to Take Over Mobile

The best meet of the weekend when it comes to Kentucky athletes is not even being held in the great state of Kentucky.  Some of the best runners in the state, especially on the distance side are heading south to the Mobile Challenge of Champions.  Annually it is one of the best meets in the south, especially this early in the season.

Emma Brink (Sacred Heart) headlines the lineup for Kentucky with the potential to take down the meet record of 4:49 in the One Mile Run.  The distance squad of duPont Manual will look to mix it up as well in the 4x800m Relay first and then each getting their turn individually.

Brandon Nichols and Andrew Stewart lead the boys runners from Kentucky.  Nichols, the UK signee with compete in the 400m Dash and 4x400m Relay.   He is coming off a junior campaign where he earned All-American honors at New Balance Nationals last June.  Stewart, a Louisville signee is going to double in the One Mile and 800m Run.
