Zac Holtkamp, senior at Bishop Brossart has signed to run for Northern Kentucky University next year. Holtkamp is coming off a senior campaign in which he was the best in an always strong northern Kentucky area. He placed third overall at the Class A Kentucky State Cross Country Meet in November.
KYtrackXC.com asked Holtkamp why he decided on NKU and he said, “I chose to attend NKU for a number of reasons. I felt very comfortable with Coach Kruse and the NKU runners. The guys on the team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and I also know some of the other incoming freshman. In addition, NKU is close to home, which will allow me to remain close to my family and friends. My brother and sister both graduated from NKU and based on their successes, I am very confident in the academic opportunities that NKU provides.”
