KY Girls Performance of the Week (5/5 - 5/11)

After weeks of rainy weekends in Kentuckiana, we finally got good weather. With the good weather came amazing performances that will be highlighted.

Lexi Young, Mason County

Lexi Young was busy this week competing in 2 separate track meets. She also contested a variety of events ranging from the 100m to the Shot Put. Overally, she escaped with 4 victories and 1 runner up on the week taking both the Long Jump (18-9.5) and High Jump (5-6)  at the Bryan Station - Woodall Invitational, and then taking wins in the Long Jump (18-4.5) and Triple Jump (39-4.25) at the Buffalo Trace Conference meet. 

Kennedy Moughamian, Lexington Christian

After contesting the Dream Mile last Saturday, Moughamian dabbled in the 3200m event this week where she took home victories at two separate track meets. She won the Madison Central All-Comers meet in a time of 10:52.40 before running 11:08.59 to win at the Woodall Invitational. 

Alexis Howard, Simon Kenton

Alexis Howard showcased her skills at the Dixie Invite taking first place in the 100m (12.21), Triple Jump (38-2.25), and Long Jump (16-5) events. Throughout this season, she is undefeated in the 100m and Triple Jump while only losing once in the Long Jump (she got 2nd).
