Madison Central senior Wyatt Stewart broke the Championship Pole Vault Meet Record at the historic Penn Relays in Philadelphia on Thursday. He vaulted 16-08 to win by nearly a foot. He broke the previous meet record of 16-06. He was named the High School Boy of the Meet for Individual Events. He set the KY All-Time #1 of 17-07.75 earlier this season.
Madison Central senior Ciara O'Shea finished 3rd as well in the Championship 3000 Meter Run with a 9:26.90 on Friday. This continues O'Shea's tour of the United States for outdoor season, she has run the 5000m in North Carolina and 3200m in California. She has set All-time #1's for Kentucky in the Mile, 3200m, and 5K this year during indoor and outdoor.
