It was a 3200m Meter Run kind of weekend for the state of Kentucky, but all officially run in other states.
Madison Central's Ciara O'Shea lowered her own KY All-Time #1 with an impressive 9:59.18 at the Arcadia Invitational in California to finish 8th overall. She had set her previous best time of 10:02 at the end of XC season in the fall at the Lloyd White Memorial. This was only her 2nd race of the outdoor season; she ran a KY All-time #1 in the 5K with a 16:23.67 at the Raleigh Relays on March 23rd.
Oldham County's Tula Fawbush traveled to Knoxsville to run at the University of Tennessee. She ran in a HS 3200m Run incorporated into their college meet. She ran a 10:29.84 to finish 4th.
Ryle's Tiger Bartlett ran a 9:13.54 to win by over a minute at the Princeton Spurlock Classic in Ohio. This time now ranks him 27th All-Time in KY history.
Apollo's Thomas Ashby joined Fawbush in Tennessee finishing 4th as well with a 9:21.31.
