This group has shown that they can handle whatever comes all year and have not lost once to a single Class AA team. Some may point towards the split squad race at Lexington Catholic that North Oldham beat them mathematically, but they have not actually been beat all year. After the track and field state championship win last spring, its kind of hard to doubt that they can put it together when it counts this weekend. Questions were raised this weekend as James Simms, a very consistent #2 runner for the group all year, finished far back at the regional, but information came out that he went down short of the finished line while in 5th or 6th place and recovered, eventually, to get across the finish line and score fifth for the group. Stephen Schwab has been a dependable #1 for the team all season, but it has been the development of Kevin Crush that has raised this team up to this position and so...
