Region 1A

Teams likely to qualify – Fort Campbell

Teams on the bubble – St. Mary, Murray, Dawson Springs

On paper this looks like Fort Campbell is going to win this region with ease as they could possibly put five in the top ten.  After that the rest is a mystery.  St. Mary, Murray, and Dawson Springs each have a top five runner in the region but have a fifth runner hovering over 25 minutes.  With only five possible full squads toeing the line, the battle for the second and third spots will be tough. 

Individually this has to be the most wide open region in Class A.    The fastest time this season was ran by Ashley Gibson of Fort Campbell with a 22:12.  Dawson Springs sophomore Amber Genseal and Murray senior Selina Lajaret should also contend for the win with each having best times within twenty seconds of Gibson.

Region 2A
