Running camp is a time-honored tradition. It's
the next step for a runner who is growing a love for running and wants to turn
up the effort and success. As a runner in Kentucky, registering for camp means
not only finding a good camp but booking an airline ticket and traveling half
a day by yourself. It's time for a quality overnight running camp right here in
Kentucky. After a great opening year in 2021, we are back for year 2.
Dates: July 20-24th, 2022
Location: Campbellsville University
Website: Bluegrassrunningcamp.com
Last year we ended up with 130+ campers including runners from 7 states including 4 State Champions and 1 Eastbay Nationals Qualifier.
AAA girls individual champion & Eastbay Nationals Qualifier
AAA boys individual champion
AA girls individual champion
AA boys individual champion
AAA boys champion team
We have early bird pricing open now, and also a discounted rate for anyone bringing 5+ runners from the same school (you can mismatch boys and girls). We had 4 full teams already sign up this weekend which was great.
We will have 20-30 counselors who are all collegiate athletes helping guide and run the camp again this year.
We are still finalizing our guest speakers for 2022, last year our speakers included:
Hakon DeVries, University of Kentucky
Eric Hines, University of Louisville and NCAA Champion at NAU
Chase Broughton, Bellarmine University men
Angela Musk, Bellarmine University women
Logan Wells, Spalding University
Corbin Harris, Campbellsville University
Dr. Scott Black, sports medicine doctor and endurance athlete
Tim Bayley, British 800m Champion and World Championship finalist, sports psychology consultant
Swag Hartel, Swag's Sports Shoes
We'd love to see your runners and team here in 2022. Don't hesitate to ask any questions!
