#5 - Paige Decker - Mason County
Last year, the freshman from Mason County placed 14th at the Class AA State Meet. Many thought she was going to be contender for a top 5 finish, but her time at the State Meet was her slowest time of the season. Have no fear! Three weeks later she threw down a 19:56 at the Foot Locker South Regional and placed 15th in the Freshman division.
The young Royal from Mason County is the next in a long line of talented runners from Mark Kachler's crew. Decker looked strong in the indoor season as she set personal bests in the 400, 800, and mile. Her talents will be on display in the first week of action as Mason County hosts the Mason County Invitational on September 12. Keep a close eye on this young lady!
