Over the last couple of weeks, the KYtrackXC team has reflected on what the 2020 track season could have been. We started with regional virtual meets for each of the 21 regions. Now we move onto the state meet. Obviously, since the regional meets were not run, we auto-advance everyone to the state meet that has one fo the top 8 marks from the 2019 season for scoring purposes. This will not include relays as those are subject to the graduation of seniors in the Class of 2019.
The gentlemen of Class A have all of the drama. Teams with strong sprint numbers (Trimble County led by Ryan Long) and those with heavy distance teams (Holy Cross (Louisville) and Lexington Christian). Toss in some strong throws out of Murray and jumps that share the wealth and you have a 2020 What-If State Meet in Class A that would have all of the anticipations of the final team scores.
