Gatorland Run

 

Tough course conditions from several days of rain made for slower, more strategy driven races.  In Varsity Girls action Lindsey Mathis (Muhelnberg County) won the individual title with Daviess County winning the team title.  In the Middle School Girls race Emily Bean (St. Edward’s) defeated runner-up Amelia Reynolds (College View) and Van Games (Bowling Green.)

The Middle School Boys race was won by Keith Prive (Greenwood) over  Chase Geary (Muhlenberg South) and Dustyn Johnson (College View.)

Ryan Eaton (Greenwood) defended his title on his own course to win in 16:57.  He was followed by Daviess County’s Evan Ehrenheim and St. Mary’s James MAglasang, each within two seconds of Eaton.   AAA #4 Apollo won the team title over #5 Daviess County and #6 Greenwood.  Apollo placed Justin House 4th, John Gleason 6th, and Evan Bridges 7th.
