As the vast majority of the state prepares to toe the line at Nutter Fieldhouse this weekend, we look back at the top marks ever produced at Kentucky's largest and first big indoor meet of the year.
The past few days we looked at the events on the track, but today is the day to focus on the events that involve arguably the most technicality of all... the field events. Field events don't get enough love, as a distance runner myself I could go out there and run a 60 and completely embarrass myself, but the thought of pole vaulting or getting a shot more than 5 meters past my feet is laughable. So this weekend if you're out at the Wildcat Classic go ahead and show some love to the field event athletes because you'll see some impressive stuff.
