Eight Kentucky Athletes to Try to Qualify for World Youth Championships in Italy

The World Youth Track and Field Trials are being held Tuesday and Wednesday in Ypsilanti, Michigan as part of the USA Youth Outdoor Track and Field Championships.  Eight athletes from Kentucky are making the trip north to compete for a chance to qualify for the IAAF World Youth Championships in Bressanone, Italy July 8-12, 2009.  The top two athletes in each event can possibly qualify for the World Youth Championships.  The official announcement will be made July 1st.
