Friday Action Continues at NON
Class AAA 800m Champion Robbie Scharold (Campbell County) competing in the first of his two races for the weekend ran in the 400m Emerging Elite Race Friday afternoon finishing 22nd out of 36 competitors running a open best time of 50.05 seconds. His Northern Kentucky Track Club teammates competed in the 1600m Sprint Medley finishing 2nd in their heat and 21st overall in 3:39.53. Kyle Hocker, Nathan McKinney, Dalan Carter combined in their legs to go through the 800m mark in 1:37.83 with Ryan Smith running the last 800m in 2:01.70.
Kentucky State Record holder Henry Clay senior Leigh Allin finished 22nd in the Pole Vault with a vault of 10-11.50.
