In an effort to honor the top track and field performers from Kentucky, KYtrackXC.com will have a weekly set of Athletes of the Week. There will be Middle School, High School, and College awardees. FormerKentuckyHigh School Track and Field athletes currently running in college are eligible for the College award, even if he or she attends a school out-of-state.
Frigo, a junior at St. Henry set two personal best times this past week in two different meets.First on Tuesday she ran a 5:11.90 to win the 1600m at the Covington Diocese Meet.Then on Saturday she ran a new best time while winning the 800m Run in 2:21.92.
Jenkins, a junior at MaleHigh School had a big PR in the Discus with a toss of 170-08 at the St. Xavier Invitational on Saturday.His throw was a 14ft improvement from his previous best.This toss ranks him #2 in the state.

Seaman, a 2007 Bardstown graduate won the Pole Vault at the Smokey Mountain Twilight on Tuesday with a new best vault of 16-06.75.
