The Kentucky High School Indoor Season opened up on Saturday, well at least unofficially. Four athletes running as Northern Kentucky Track Club ventured to Ohio Northern University for the Western Ohio Officials Invitational.

Campbell County junior Robbie Scharold started off the season with a band winning both the 800m Run and the 1600m Run. His winning time in the 800m Run was 2:00.80 which hit the MileSplit US National Indoor Mark. His time in the 1600m Run was a 4:38.80.
