Madison Hale and Brianne Porter to Sign with Western Kentucky University

Madison Hale (Daviess County) and Brianne Porter (Muhlenberg South) both have agreed to sign with Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green to run Cross Country and Track.

 

Madison Hale, senior at Daviess County High School in Owensboro finished 7^th in the 1600 Meter Run (5:25.81) and 10^th in the 800 Meter Run (2:27.02) at the 2008 Class AAA Kentucky State Track Meet.  She was the Region 1 Champion in both events.  This fall she ran a career best in the 5,000 Meter Run with a 19:48.81 to finish Runner-Up at the Sun Run.  She has career best of 2:25.05 in the 800 Meter Run and 5:24.90 in the 1600 Meter Run.

 

Brianne Porter, senior at Muhlenberg South High School in Greenville finished 12^th at the 2008 Kentucky Class AA State Cross Country Meet and was selected 1^st Team Class AA All-State by the KTCCCA.  She finished 5^th in the 3200 Meter Run at the 2008 Kentucky Class AA State Track Meet with a time of 12:31.96.  She has career best of 5:30.78 in the 1600 Meter Run, 12:06.33 in the 3200 Meter Run, and 19:52.97 in the 5000 Meter Run.
