KYtrackXC.com is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual “Who Will Win Cross Country State?” Contest. The winner of the contest will receive a Holloway Warm-Up Jacket presented by Spectrum Athletics. Spectrum Athletics, Official equipment supplier to the KHSAA State Track and Field Meet can be contacted at 1-866-231-0368.
The contest will consist of predicting the top 5 individuals and top 5 teams for each of the six races. Each correct guess (matching the actual finishing place at state) is worth one point, for a max score of 60 points (5 individuals + 5 teams * 6 classes). In the event of a tie, the winner will be based on how many correct first place predictions, then second, and so on as needed until the tie is broken.
You can predict for all six races or just one if you want, but the more boys and girls classes you predict, the more points you can earn. And the better your chances at winning the contest!
There are two ways to enter: Post your predictions on the KYtrackXC.com Message Board under the forum “Predict Cross Country State Contest” OR email your predictions to me at jonathan@kytrackxc.com. These will also be posted but your name will not be directly attached.
ALL PREDICTIONS MUST BE POSTED ON THE MESSAGE BOARD OR RECEIVED BY EMAIL NO LATER THAN 11:59PM ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13TH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE CONTEST!!
The winner will be announced on the website by Tuesday, November 18th.
