Capital View Classic

The Archives in Frankfort could be the toughest course in the state of Kentucky with several trips, (yes plural, trips) up very steep hills.  The hills did now slow down Daniel Thurston (Western Hills) that much as he wins in a time of 17:12.70.  The Scott County boys won the team title led by sophomore Donovan Norris’s 3^rd place finish, 18:51.17.

In the girls action, Ariel Conrad of Anderson County won with a time of 23:08.88.  Scott County won the girls title also led by Ally Conrad’s 2^nd place finish, 23:36.83

Great American XC Festival

KYtrackXC.com Class AAA Girls #1 Assumption, #2 SacredHeartAcademy, and Boys #4 all made the trip south to the Great American XC Festival in Alabama. 

St. Xavier finished 2^nd in the Boys Race of Champions defeating NXN Southeast #3 Collins Hill (GA) and #7 Baylor (TN.)  The junior duo of Jackson Carnes, 11^th place, 16:23.8 and Thomas Mann, 18^th place, 16:41.0.
